Speak up for a child in foster care - apply to be a CASA Volunteer!

We are currently accepting online applications for our next training for new volunteers. Court Appointed Special Advocates - CASA Volunteers - are adults who have been trained to speak out on behalf of abused and neglected children, helping social workers and judges make decisions in the children's best interest. If you think you would like to be a CASA Volunteer in St. Tammany or Washington Parish, please call to request an information packet. Our next training for new CASA Volunteers starts soon. There is no charge for the training, and the application is not a commitment to be a CASA Volunteer - it's just the first step in learning more about the program. The training will be a combination of web-based and in-person instruction. The in-person sessions will be held one evening per week for 5 weeks, and the web-based sessions are completed at home between the in-person sessions.
